Academy Dress Code

Year 10 and 11 Dress Code

Students in Year 10 and 11 are expected to wear:

  • A black or white shirt
  • Black trousers or a black knee length skirt
  • Black leather or leather look shoes

Students can choose to wear:

  • A black jumper with no logos
  • The Long Sleeve STEM branded quarter zip PE top
  • A black blazer
  • A tie of their choice

Students should remove any outdoor clothing (coats, hoodies) once they are in the building.

 

Jewellery and Make Up

  • No more than two studs in each ear
  • No other facial piercings (clear nose studs can be worn)
  • Subtle, natural make up can be worn
  • No false eyelashes
  • No fake nails due to risk of injury in workshop environments. Nail varnish can be worn
  • Students with long hair must have a hairband to tie hair up

 

PE Dress Code

On PE days, students in Year 10 and 11 are expected to wear:

  • The STEM branded PE top
  • Stem branded PE shorts, or plain black PE shorts
  • Trainers

On PE days, students can choose to wear:

  • Full length STEM branded trousers
  • The Long Sleeve STEM branded quarter zip PE top
  • The STEM branded Hoodie or a plain black hoodie
  • Long Purple PE socks
