BMAT STEM Academy Welcomes Back Dustin Schuyler

We are pleased to welcome Dustin Schuyler into his new role as Executive Headteacher of BMAT STEM Academy from January 2025.

Mr Schuyler, who is currently Headteacher of Forest Hall School in Stansted, will continue his current role, whilst providing vital support and guidance to the leadership team and fellow members of staff in his new role at STEM.

In his previous role, Mr Schuyler had been Head of School at STEM Academy, in Harlow. Whilst in post, he oversaw the school being graded as ‘good’ by Ofsted in its first inspection in January 2023.

He said: “STEM Academy is a terrific school and beacon of Harlow and the surrounding areas for students interested in a curriculum devoted to developing the next generation of scientists, technicians, engineers and mathematicians.

“I look forward in returning to support a school that means so much to me, our business partners and the community.”

Dustin’s proven track record of success will help guide the technical college forward so that students continue to prosper in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
