Head of centre Dave Ramsey said: “We are delighted our students have achieved excellent results in their GCSEs which have put them in a very strong position to access A-levels, Level 3 BTECs and apprenticeships.
“We have continued our upward trajectory of improving results, particularly in our core subjects.
“Our unique, STEM-based offer has paid dividends to students who have made particularly strong progress in maths and science, alongside very good performances in our options subjects, including 3D design, business studies, computer science and statistics.
“We are delighted that almost 70 per cent of our students have applied to stay with us for our expanding sixth form and very proud that all of our students have rewarding and appropriate courses to move onto.
“I would like to thank our dedicated staff team who have worked tirelessly to support our learners to achieve these wonderful results. Students and parents who took a chance to move to BMAT STEM Academy in Year 10 have been rewarded thanks to our science and technology focus.”
