A-level results 2023
Posted: 17th August 2023A growing sixth form is celebrating “very strong” A-level and BTEC results today, as students collected their results after the summer’s exams.
The sixth form is expanding from September, with new A-level and BTEC courses including media studies and business studies.
Among those celebrating today are –
· Neila Ali, who is heading to Lincoln University to study architecture
· George Dilworth-Wild, who is heading to University of Portsmouth to study physics
· Samuel Richardson, who is heading to Loughborough University to study computer science
· Owen Keen, who is starting an apprenticeship
· Theresa Benhard, who is heading to Oxford Brookes University to study architecture
Dave Ramsey, head of centre, said: “We are really pleased for our students. They have achieved some very strong results and will be continuing on to exciting opportunities, taking up apprenticeships, places at university and entering the world of work.
“We have loved working with this group who, despite the challenges of their GCSE years during the pandemic, have done themselves proud.
“Our strengths in engineering, computer science and maths have shone through once again.
“We would like to thank all of our parents and families, teachers and, most importantly, students who have worked so hard to get to where they are now. We look forward to hearing all about their future successes.”
